1. INFORMATION FOR AUTHORS

A. Preparing your contribution

Presentations: Wherever possible, contributors are encouraged to provide a video of their presentation. In case of any change to the content requirements of your presentation, your Track Lead will have contacted you. For guidelines on how to record a video with a PowerPoint presentation, please click here. The deadline for submitting your video is 8 May. If you use the software described in the guidlines, please send your video file to capdevsymposium@un-ihe.org. Otherwise, you can upload it to the platform yourself. If you have a PowerPoint presentation but do not wish to record a video, please upload your presentation as a pdf file on the platform.

Posters: Posters will remain in landscape format, but will now be required as an A4 PDF. If you have already prepared your poster, you should be able to prepare an A4 PDF directly from your design software. Readers will be able to size the poster in order to view. Otherwise you can refine the main points down to A4. The deadline for submitting your poster is 8 May. You can upload it to the platform yourself.

If you have NOT already prepared your poster, we advise you to prepare it as an A4 PDF from the start. To give an idea of what can reasonably fit into these mini-posters, we have prepared four templates, which you can use if you wish (click here for pdf and here for InDesign).

Extended Abstracts: There is no change to the existing guidelines on preparing and submitting extended abstracts to EasyChair, which you can find here. Aditionally, you can upload your (extended) abstract to the platform if you have not been asked to prepare either a video presentation, PowerPoint slides (in pdf), or a poster.

B. Submitting your contribution

The platform hosts all of the content and places for discussion and provides a gateway to live and recorded events, and you can upload your content yourself. For guidelines on how to submit your content, click here. Please do not assign a room for your content but leave it flagged “no room”. We will locate this in the correct room. Note that the deadline for all contributions is 8 May. If you have not prepared a video presentation, PowerPoint slides (in pdf), or a poster, please upload your (extended) abstract.
